Advanced Psychological Statistics II

SAS programs, 3/8/2011

We will employ four new SAS programs to illustrate continuous interactions.

First, we will calculate means for centering.

Next, we will consider the regression with a continuous interaction.

We will observe the importance of centering.

We will calculate quartiles to help us understand the nature of the interaction.

Finally, we will dummy code the quartiles as another way to help us understand what's going on with the continuous interaction.
