A pioneering collection of poetry by three Chicano Gay poets. Both Reyes and Alarcón make frequent use of metaphors and poetic images. Gutiérrez writes in
a more narrative style. All three write about love, desire, the body, societal norms and restrictions, and language. Alarcón also explores the experience
of imprisonment. Many of the poems in this collection are in Spanish.
