Again for the First Time (Rosemary Catacalos)
Santa Fe, NM: Tooth of the Time Press, 1984

The poems in this book point towards the author’s dual ancestral Greek and Mexican roots. In the first direction, Ariadne, Ulysses, Penelope, and the landscape of the Greek Islands serve as the main referents. The second is presented through the San Antonio, TX scenery, with chicharras being the main recurrent image.
